Rain more or less constant lately.  Weirdly constant. Completely eliminating fishing opportunities. For carp that is. I’m sure fishing for bass, trout, etc., is fine and maybe even great.  If you’re into that sort of thing.

It’s not the precip itself but the overcast skies and general gloominess that come with it, by which I mean the varying hues of grey that seem to suck the color out of everything when a front stalls and sinks its teeth into the landscape for a few days.  From the inside of my house the windows look like screens of old black and white TVs from back in the day.

Certainly not ideal conditions for sight fishing to carp, a full-color endeavor in every way.
